Lima, 12 de julio de 2012. Fenix Power<\/strong>, empresa a cargo de la construcci\u00f3n y operaci\u00f3n de la Central Termoel\u00e9ctrica ubicada en Chilca<\/strong>, Javier Alvarado Gonzales, Presidente Regional de Lima y Alfredo Chauca, alcalde distrital de Chilca firmaron ayer el convenio de cooperaci\u00f3n interinstitucional \u00abAmpliaci\u00f3n del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Distrito de Chilca\u00bb. Por este convenio se establece que Fenix Power entregar\u00e1 2,000 m3 agua potable diarios gratuitamente a las autoridades para su distribuci\u00f3n en beneficio de la poblaci\u00f3n de Chilca y Las Salinas, la inversi\u00f3n de la planta desalinizadora y potabilizadora asciende a m\u00e1s de 4 millones de d\u00f3lares Asimismo, Fenix Power<\/strong> ha financiado el Estudio del Proyecto de Inversi\u00f3n P\u00fablica: Ampliaci\u00f3n del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Chilca, que permitir\u00e1 conectar el agua potable que entregar\u00e1 Fenix Power a la red de agua potable que actualmente posee Chilca. El Gobierno Regional de Lima, financiar\u00e1 la ejecuci\u00f3n de la obra, valorizada en m\u00e1s de 7 millones de Nuevos Soles. Por su parte la Municipalidad de Chilca tendr\u00e1 la responsabilidad de garantizar la operaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento del proyecto, entre otros temas de gesti\u00f3n municipal para concretar la Ampliaci\u00f3n del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Distrito de Chilca<\/strong>. Ernesto C\u00f3rdova, Gerente General de Fenix Power<\/strong>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la entrega de agua potable ser\u00e1 posible porque la planta contar\u00e1 con un sistema de desalinizaci\u00f3n y potabilizaci\u00f3n de agua de mar.
